EverFlow ULTRAFILTRATION MEMBRANE PVDF OUTSIDE - IN

EverFlow hollow fiber membranes are produced with Kynar R PVDF raw material. Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) material is most stable chemically and also resistant to oxidizing agents (sodium hypochlorite, etc.). It is ten times more stable than Polyethersulfone (PES) and Polysulfone (PS).

The PVDF fiber is made to undergo a special hydrophilization treatment whereby the membrane filament develops permanent hydrophilicity. The membrane material with good hydrophilicity cannot be easily fouled, and is easier to clean and recover after fouling. Relative water resistance is often measured by contact angle. Due to the unique hydrophilic properties the water contact angle is reduced from 100° (Before modification) to 30 - 63 after modification, at lower transmembrane pressure. Under this condition, a high water flux can be obtained, and at the same time, the pollution resistance of the membrane filament can be improved.

Thus under lower transmembrane pressure, high water flux can be obtained. EverFlow hollow fiber membrane have a uniform pore formation and high porosity.
